What exactly do companies and teams that can achieve great things rely on?

In other words, what is the essence of a company or team being able to achieve great things?

Collaboration, filling gaps, and mutual trust are essential.

To truly achieve efficiency and tie a group of people together, a team must have five core steps: setting goals, carrying goals, monitoring the process, staying true to the bottom line, and rewarding results.

                                            -1-Step

1: Set goalsSetting goals is easy to say, but when it comes to actually doing it, many people may not truly understand.Let me give an example.

In a military operation, the leader requested a certain unit to take down a certain position before 12 noon. This is the goal set for this unit.

However, after a difficult and arduous battle, the troops finally occupied the position at 2 pm in the afternoon.Did you complete the task by being two hours late?It cannot be counted, because the purpose of allowing this unit to capture the position at 12:30 noon is for the majority of the troops to pass through here.

If you are two hours late, the marching speed of the majority of the troops will be delayed by two hours, and the strategic deployment of the entire campaign is likely to be disrupted. For an organization, all goals are aimed at higher-level collaboration.

A big goal is the aggregation of countless small goals.

The goal is to form a distributed collaborative network.

                               -2-Step

2: Carry the targetOnce a goal is set, someone must be responsible for achieving it.

The meaning of carrying a goal is that no matter how difficult the goal may be, it must be achieved.

For a team, after achieving their goals, there are only two occasions to express difficulties. The first occasion is when taking on the target.

When setting a goal, if you evaluate yourself as unable to achieve it, you should express it in a timely manner. Let the manager decide whether to change the goal or replace people to achieve it.You must understand that taking on an unfulfilled goal and ultimately failing to achieve it will result in greater losses than not taking on this task.

The second occasion is when achieving the goal.Once, when I joined the party committee of a bank, a line director said, "I did not complete the task, but these past few months I have been under a lot of pressure and haven't slept a whole night.".Later, the president of this bank said, "Who doesn't have much pressure?"? Are you under a lot of pressure, is the pressure on the Party committee and leadership high? Difficulties can only be said when you have completed the task.

As a side story, you cannot say it when things have not been completed. These difficulties are all excuses that you haven't done well.

I think this passage is particularly good, expressing difficulties in achieving goals and achieving success, rather than failing or failing.

What should we do if we encounter difficulties in executing our goals?Find every way to solve it.This is called carrying the goal.

                                              -3-Step

3: Focus on the processAfter someone takes down the goal, the next step is to closely monitor the process.

Anything, once brought up, can never disappear. It must be achieved that everything has an explanation, each item has a resolution, and everything has an echo. There can only be two ways for any task to end: the first is to be completed, and the second is to be canceled by the initiator. If something is handed over and gradually disappears without anyone asking, then your collaboration mechanism is a failure.

The essence of keeping a close eye on the process is to put a closed loop on anything, and there must be an end when there is a beginning.

                                            -4-Step

4: Defend the bottom lineAny organization or team, at the beginning of its formation, is mostly driven by values.

However, as the team gradually grows, values will quickly be diluted.

What should we do then?By holding onto the bottom line.

The so-called bottom line is to clarify what can be done and what cannot be done.

For example, marketing personnel taking advantage of the company's loopholes to take kickbacks, relying on gift giving to market customers to obtain business, and other behaviors may not be harmful in the short term, and may even promote the development of the company's business.

However, in the long run, this will be unstoppable.

The principle that there is no fish when the water is clear does not apply to all things.-

                                    5-Step

5: Award ResultsThe result is unshakable, and only by completing the result can one receive the corresponding reward.

Some people often say "there is no credit, there is also hard work".

However, I'm sorry, only credit can be rewarded, hard work has no reward.Because only in this way can we ensure that everyone truly values the goal.

Written at the end of the sentence

Setting goals, carrying them, monitoring the process, staying true to the bottom line, and rewarding results.

These five steps are necessary to ensure that a company and a team form an efficient collaborative network.

Give yourself to your companions, give your backs to each other, and trust each other.A team that can succeed can do it.
